Hamper Proceeds given to Open Christmas

Joan Naylor, Fundraiser for Open Christmas with Nathan Moore, CEO of Potters Friends Foundation.

The Potters Friends Foundation this week donated £500.00 to Open Christmas Great Yarmouth, a free Christmas Day event which serves up lunch and entertainment to around 300 people in the local community who, without this wonderful initiative and its volunteers, would spend the day alone.

The donation was made following the fantastic efforts of Iris & Geoff Pratt who recently raised almost £500.00 by donating two food hampers to the foundation. The Potters Friends Foundation then contributed essential items for the event and those attending, such as drinks and tinned foods. Any excess items from the event were passed to the Great Yarmouth Food Bank.

We'd like to thank Iris & Geoff once again; those responsible for arranging Open Christmas this year were extremely grateful for your kind support.
