Homeless Trust Marks First Year
The Anchorage Trust is a local charity providing accommodation to young people and we were delighted to join them in celebrating their first anniversary on Monday 14th 2016.
In the 12 months since their launch, they have helped facilitate around 29 people into accommodation in the Great Yarmouth area who were either homeless or vulnerably housed. Working closely with another local enterprise, Inspired Youth, their 'Brighter Futures' project also looks to find suitable employment where required, allowing the young people they have helped to live independently.
The Potters Friends Foundation is delighted to support the Anchorage Trust and were on hand to provide their founder, Ben Stone, with a cheque for £500.00 in part to assist in the creation of their video showcasing their achievements to date. Potters Resort also donated a weekend break to be raffled at the Anchorage Trust One Year Party on the 19th March 2016.
