Team Potters present cheque to Foundation

Over the course of May, June and July we have seen a number of teams on Resort celebrate the efforts of their staff and in turn, raise valuable funds for the Potters Friends Foundation.

The month of May saw National Receptionists' Day, followed by Bars Recognition Day in June and Potters Housekeeping Day in July. These events have served as an opportunity for those teams to delegate their day to day commitments to other willing team members, managers and directors, allowing them to enjoy some fun and games with guests and a well deserved afternoon in the sunshine.

Over the course of these three days, donations were made to the Foundation through bake sales, jewellery and bric-a-brac sales and raffles to name a few, all contributed to by our wonderful guests (including a brilliant effort by Iris and Geoff Pratt) and staff across the Resort.

Those involved in the three days were on hand to pass over a cheque to Foundation Patron Judy Potter and CEO Nathan Moore for a grand total of £3,912.70 - a truly magnificent effort by all involved.

Over the course of the coming months there will be other events to listen out for, including the ever popular Annual Waiters Race.
